The Public Association “Global Aviation Forum” and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova initiated a collaboration in the field of civil aviation

On July 25, 2019, Mr. Ion Vinaga and representatives of the Public Association "Global Aviation Forum" (GAF) headed by the President Mr. Alexei Rogov had a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova.

 

 

During the meeting with the participation of Mr. Pavel Voicu, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, the initiative of GAF to create a platform for the promotion of the national innovation process in the field of aviation through the cooperation of all ministries and agencies interested in carrying out civil aviation restoration processes in the Republic of Moldova was discussed.

 

It was also discussed the possibility of creating a national project “Aviation Cadets” for training the younger generation of pilots and technicians and, at the same time, reassigning specialists in this field by drawing on international practice and experience, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) from Canada - the third country in the world in the field of aviation technology. In this respect, a bilateral meeting of the Ministries of Defense of Moldova and Canada would be very promising.

 

The Vice-President of GAF Mr. Ion Vinaga noted that this segment is not very efficient at the moment. "If our initiative in the field of restarting civil aviation is successful, we will be able to develop several segments of the national and international economy. The potential is huge, we can hope for an effective result, provided that all government structures are involved in the process, and here I mean the presidency, government, ministries, agencies. We start the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and only through this general consolidation we can be efficient," Mr. Vinaga said.

 

It was agreed that an Agreement of cooperation between the "Global Aviation Forum" and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova should be signed in the near future.
