As part of a project to unite universities in the field of sports and physical education, the National Sports Foundation, represented by President Mr. Ion Vinaga, signed a cooperation agreement with ASEM Rector Mr. Grigore Belostěchnik on December 20, 2018.
The partners agreed on joint participation in promoting a healthy lifestyle, playing sports and organizing sports activities among universities in the country.
Mr. Ion Vinaga noted the success of the Academy of Economic Studies, which on December 11 of this year won the title of champion of the national university in wrestling: “We are proud that we have such young people. To be useful to society, you must have a healthy mind and a healthy body. Practicing physical activities should begin as early as possible. Therefore, we encourage our future specialists by creating favorable conditions, financial and moral support in organizing events at the academic level, and not only. ”
The rector of ASEM, Mr. Grigore Belostechnik, noted that the signing of this agreement will bring common benefits to partners and will contribute to the promotion of sports among students.
