On December 17, 2018, a gala of the winners of the Association of Sports Press of the Republic of Moldova, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, took place in the MI PIACE restaurant. The event was attended by more than 100 prominent personalities, coaches, athletes, leaders of sports federations, sports journalists. By good tradition, at the end of the year, the best athletes, the best teams and coaches who successfully represented the Republic of Moldova in the international arena are announced, and at the same time the best sports journalists are called. The summing up of these totals is based on the results of the APSM survey.
On the basis of the Cooperation Agreement, the National Sports Foundation represented by President Mr. Ion Vinaga, contributed to the conducting of the event. “Sport has been and remains a social phenomenon of great importance. Thanks to him, people develop their social qualities and skills, even mental abilities and quick thinking largely depend on physical activity. Athletes who were mentioned today are our pride. But without media coverage, sports cannot be so attractive, so we express our gratitude to sports journalists. Sport and the media should be increasingly united in achieving their goals,” said Mr. Vinaga.
For financial support and participation, the National Sports Foundation received an Official Partner Diploma of the given event.
