The agreement that actively supports the development of the scientific and academic world of the Republic of Moldova

A collaboration agreement between the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and DAYS Capital AG was signed on April 17, 2018. The 5-year agreement took effect on the date of signature by both parties, represented by the president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Gheorghe Duca, and the co-founder of DAYS Capital AG, Ion Vînaga.

The premises of the agreement between DAYS Capital AG and the Academy of Sciences:

• The main purpose of this agreement is to promote science, top-class technologies and innovations. Collaboration with scientists, both from the Republic of Moldova and abroad, offers the opportunity to support scientists and promote the role of science in extending the human life span.
• The intention of this action is to make the scientific field in our country known, because is very hard for scientists and researchers from the Republic of Moldova to promote themselves, even inside the country, and their merits are not rightfully recognized.
• The agreement was concluded with Swiss and English international participations, in which the co-founder and Angel investor Ion Vinaga came up with the proposal to promote the actions and events organized by the Academy of Sciences on an international scale.

It is also important to note that it is the first time in 7 years since our country is associated with European programmes, that a foundation has come up with the initiative to support and contribute to the development of the scientific field.

The first event of this agreement was held on 21 April 2018, at the University of Oxford (UK), where the first official presentation of DAYS Capital AG was also held. At the event that started the collaboration agreement, representatives of the scientific community, academics and professors from Oxford were present.

Moreover, it can be said that, thanks to this agreement, events with a major contribution to the development of science and research in the Republic of Moldova and outside the country were held and will be held in the future.
